Solar in the Classroom
New Generation offers a wide array of solar energy options, from small scale systems designed specifically for educational purposes to large scale energy production units. Along with your solar energy system New Generation energy provides your school with a web-based monitoring system, and several hands-on learning tools to enhance the educational component of the project. We will help prepare a unit that fits into the educator’s curriculum that teaches students the importance of renewable energy sources as well as the basics of their schools solar energy system. The monitoring system allows teachers and students to compare their solar production with other schools around the country.

Getting Started
A New Generation representative will visit your prospective location and collect information about the site in order to generate a customized proposal that meets your schools specific requirements. Site evaluations are free of charge and take one to two hours to perform.

Incentives & Financing
Designed to encourage schools to generate their own solar power, these programs can pay for up to 70% of the total system cost. These programs include direct rebates, loan programs and other financial incentives.

Maintenance and Warranty
With no moving parts there is minimal system maintenance required. Included with the installation agreement, New Generation provides an annual maintenance inspection for the first 5 years of service. Extended service and maintenance contracts are available upon request.
New Generation provides a standard 5 year installation warranty that covers material and workmanship in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty on solar modules and inverters.
